The second series follows the events of the second video game, focusing on the lost continent of Mu. The ancient civilization vanished ages ago, and a few of its remnants still exist as myths and legends called UMAs (Unidentified Mystery Animals similar to FM-ians that also have the ability to fuse with humans). The UMAs begin merging with humans in order to search for the treasures of Mu, the powerful OOPArts, which will give them the power to revive Mu. After Subaru and War-Rock encounter several unusual enemies, they meet a professor named Dr. Orihime who sends them on a quest to find the OOPArts and stop the UMAs. Using the OOPArts, Rockman is able to take new forms, primarily the sword-wielding Thunder Berserk form. Near the end, Subaru discovers that Dr. Orihime and her accomplice Empty are actually leading the Mu warriors and attempt to use the OOPArts to revive Mu and the devastating force known as Ra Mu. But Rockman combines the three OOPArts together, forming Tribe King, and uses this new power to stop Ra Mu and seal Mu once more.

Episode Summary: A new breed of radio wave viruses have substantiated at a museum, so Subaru investigates. While there, he notices a strange aura emitting from a display item called the "Sword of Berserk." Soon after, two new enemies appear (Yeti Blizzard and Phantom Black) and begin to battle one another for the sword. In the heat of the struggle to protect the sword, War-Rock accidentally ingests it, and the enemies flee.

Episode Summary: After discussing the incident with Misora, Subaru meets a professor named Dr. Orihimi. She explains that Cepheus's activity on Earth recently awakened the denpa residents (UMAs) of the lost continent Mu. Mu was sealed with an extremely powerful denpa being within it, and the UMAs wish to break the seal in order to release the being. But to do so, they require three ooparts one of which is the sword stuck in War-Rock's stomach and Dr. Orihimi hopes to cooperate with Subaru in order to retrieve the ooparts first. Suddenly however, a mysterious new enemy named Bly attacks the university and assaults Subaru...
